Delivery times

I always aim to get the goods to you as soon as possible, but I please ask you to allow 14 days in the UK/Ireland and 21 days outside of the UK for delivery.

If you wish to order more than 5 of the same item, you will notice that the shopping cart won’t let you. That’s not to say you can’t, just as you can imagine it might lengthen the delivery times and costs as these numbers will likely have to be made to order. Please get in touch via the Contact Form, and I’ll call you to discuss the options.

Delivery method

I use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery for UK/Ireland parcels. This will require a signature upon delivery. For Europe and the rest of the world I use Royal Mail International ‘Signed For’ delivery, which again, requires a signature upon delivery.

Items lost in transit

Orders sent via Royal Mail recorded delivery are subject to Royal Mail terms. Parcels are not considered lost or missing  by the Royal Mail until 15 days after the sending date. I am therefore unable to resend or refund for orders lost in transit until 15 days after the order sending date. Parcel tracking information is available upon request.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are as follows:

UK – £4 with free delivery on orders over £40

Europe – £11

Rest of World – £15

There are no free deliveries on European and Rest of World orders, I’m afraid. Sorry about that!

Returns policy

I hope that you will be happy with your purchase, but if you aren’t for any reason, please return it to me within 14 and I’d be happy to replace it or refund your money. Please note, however, that I can’t be held responsible for good that are lost in transit back to me, so please send it via a method that gives you proof of posting and insurance to the value of the products…just in case!

Can I buy online?

Yes you can! Most of the productsyou see on the site have an “Add to Cart” button beneath the description. If you click this button you will see the item and cost reflected in your cart in the bottom left of the page. Add as many items as you wish, and “Checkout” when you’re ready.

I accept Paypal payments for easy and secure online card payments, or, if you prefer, I can take card payments over the phone using a portable card terminal. To pay for your goods this way, just choose the items you want and send the details to me via the Contact Form, leaving a telephone number where you can be reached, and I’ll call you back to take your details over the phone.

You can also get in touch via the Contact Form to ask any pre-sales questions, or to make sure I’ve got enough fabrics in stock to make a particular item in your preferred style.

Privacy and Your Information

I will only ever ues the information you send to me to fulfil your order. I will never disclose it to any third party companies or bombard you with spam emails. Your data will be held securely behind our passwords in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Can I buy products anywhere else?

Yes you can! My products are stocked at a number of gifts shops across Scotland. See the Stockists page for more information.

Unique Hand-made Products

Because each piece is hand-made and unique, the finished items may differ slightly to the pictures shown in the product pages. I like to think that’s what makes our products special and different and I hope you will too. The pictures should be used as a guide only, though, and I reserve the right to change fabrics depending on availability. You might find that the colours of the tweed fabric or motifs may not be exactly as shown.
